Nighat Shah is the Vice President of the commercial real estate development and convenience stores company she co-founded along with her husband two decades ago.

She started her career by working “hands on” alongside her husband in their first small service station/convenience store. Soon after, she started an in-home wholesale business to help accommodate the needs of her growing family. Empowered by that success, she began trading stocks and futures. Along the way, she completed her postgraduate education with high honors and developed an in-depth understanding of finance and business.

In addition to her professional life, Mrs. Shah is a philanthropist dedicated to bettering the lives of those in developing nations, particularly in her hometown of Chitral, Pakistan. Since 2005, she has subsidized hundreds of students, and built a conference hall, and an ECD center in Pamir Public School Garam Chashma. In 2019, she built a women’s hostel that houses almost 200 students in Balach Chitral.

She has a strong desire to serve others, and do everything in her power to encourage women to be self-sufficient and financially independent.

Mrs. Shah holds an M.S. in Business and Finance from the University of Memphis.
